Ukraine has conducted the 58th prisoner exchange with Russia, returning 95 of its defenders. Among those released are defenders of Mariupol, Azovstal and other regions, many of whom have serious illnesses due to torture.

According to the ISW, “several thousand” North Korean infantrymen are being trained in Russia. They may be deployed to the front in Ukraine or in the border regions of Russia by the end of 2024.

The Russian army is concentrating its efforts in the Avdiivka-Pokrovsky sector, creating conditions for an offensive. According to British intelligence, the Russians will try to capture Selydove in the coming weeks and are advancing toward the center of Toretsk.

On October 11, Russian troops shelled settlements in 4 districts of Donetsk region. As a result of the attacks, a 74-year-old woman was killed and 6 other people were injured of varying severity.

Russian shelling in Donetsk region resulted in 1 death and 4 injuries. Seventy-one civilian objects were damaged, including 37 residential buildings in different districts of the region.

Oleg Kiper met with the soldiers of the 28th Brigade and workers from Odesa region at the front line. He discussed further cooperation with the head of the Donetsk RMA and emphasized the importance of supporting Ukraine's defenders.

A large ammunition depot of the Russian occupation forces was found on the territory of an abandoned plant in Panteleimonivka. The warehouse is of strategic importance for supplying artillery and tank units in the Toretsk sector.

Over the last day, 2691 attacks were registered in 10 localities of Donetsk region. 26 civilian objects were damaged, including 23 residential buildings, and one person was wounded in Yasna Polyana.

On the night of October 10, 2024, Russia attacked Ukraine with missiles and drones. The Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down 41 enemy UAVs and continue to counter the attack, there are damages.

In 2024, Russia used more than 1,000 munitions against Ukraine's energy facilities. The loss of energy capacity exceeds 9 GW, which is equivalent to the electricity supply of four EU countries.

After the Russians destroyed the water supply infrastructure in Donetsk region, the authorities are taking steps to normalize the situation. It is planned to drill wells in several cities to provide the population with drinking water.
