Head of Mariupol MSEC caught on bribe for establishing disability

The head of the Mariupol MSEC demanded $5,000 for establishing a disability group III for an IDP. A search of her apartment revealed more than $20,000.

The MSEC, whose head has been notified of suspicion (Part 3 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code), is temporarily deployed in Khmelnytsky and makes decisions on the determination of disability groups for internally displaced persons from Donetsk region and other temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
According to the investigation, the suspect demanded $5,000 from the man for a positive "solution" to the issue of establishing the third group of disability. In fact, the woman was caught "red-handed" while receiving the money and detained.
As a result of searches at the doctor's residence, law enforcement officers seized over USD 20,000. The issue of a measure of restraint against the suspect and her removal from office is currently being decided.

The head of one of the district MSECs in Kirovohrad region, who is also a member of the city council, was caught taking a bribe and was notified of suspicion. The bribe amounted to 2 thousand dollars.
