Zelenskyy visits HIMARS division in Zaporizhzhia sector

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited one of the divisions of the 27th Petro Kalnyshevskyy Jet Artillery Brigade, inspected the equipment, listened to a report and awarded the soldiers with state awards, UNN reports.
According to the OP, this brigade was the first in Ukraine to receive HIMARS systems and is now providing artillery support for the defense of Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions.
The Head of State heard a report from the Commander of the Tavria military unit Hennadii Shapovalov on the operations performed, including the use of long-range vehicles, the peculiarities of the use of HIMARS systems and the dynamics of ammunition supply to them.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated the defenders on the Day of the Land Forces and the recent Day of Missile Forces and Artillery and awarded them the Orders of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, I-III degrees, and "For Courage", III degree.
"It is a great pleasure to be here today, to award you, to thank you for your service, for protecting Ukraine, the families of all Ukrainians, our Motherland. Thank you very much. I wish you health, endurance, strength and victory. Let the "Haymars" not fail, let them hit enemy targets," the President said.
