Zelenskyy named the main priorities of the government before winter

Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine must prepare for the winter period. According to him, energy, logistics, and the operation of the grain corridor were among the main factors in making personnel decisions in the government. The President of Ukraine reported this during a press conference, reports UNN.

Details

The President emphasized that the country must prepare for the winter period in advance.

We need to prepare for the winter plan. When choosing the Prime Minister, I focused specifically on energy. The Prime Minister being an energy expert is, in my opinion, a balanced decision

- the president stated.

The President also called the situation with agriculture and logistics a separate challenge. According to him, the Ukrainian authorities understood the risks to the grain corridor several months ago.

A separate challenge is agriculture. We understood a couple of months ago what they would do.  They will do everything to block our grain corridor. You know that the Prime Minister already stated yesterday. Yesterday, not a single ship was able to enter the port. That is, they struck at all ships. They will increase this. Understanding this, we saw the Russians' plans a couple of months ago. And therefore we made a decision that a specific person should handle this area. So logistics, our grain, agriculture, energy - all these are very important things

- the president emphasized.

Reminder

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andrii Sybiha, held a conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of France regarding Russian attacks in the Black Sea. The parties discussed the need for an international response to protect shipping and grain exports.
