Zelenskyy and the Dutch foreign minister discussed the creation of a special tribunal on russian aggression and Ukraine's need for air defense, as well as the upcoming December European Council meeting on the progress of European integration.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and  Dutch Foreign Minister Hanke Brains Slot discussed further steps in establishing a special tribunal for the crime of russian aggression against Ukraine. This was reported by UNN with reference to the OP.   

We are grateful for the concrete and strong decisions of the Netherlands, which helped us on the battlefield, helped protect civilians, and also made progress in ensuring the operation of an alternative humanitarian corridor.

Zelenskyy informed about the situation at the front and strategic goals in repelling Russia's full-scale aggression.

"We discussed the priority needs of Ukrainian defenders, primarily to strengthen air defense, provide additional 155 mm artillery systems and ammunition, and train Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighters with the support of the Netherlands. They also talked about the functioning of an alternative "grain corridor" and strengthening its protection," the statement said.

Volodymyr and Slot paid attention to the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula, in particular, the preparation of the fourth meeting at the level of security and foreign policy advisers, as well as the Global Peace Summit.

The President and the Dutch Foreign Minister focused on Ukraine's European integration and preparations for the December meeting of the European Council. Zelenskyy noted that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is expected to adopt a number of European integration bills in the coming days.

"We are counting on a positive decision of the European Council to start negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU. This will be a powerful motivation for our society and for our defenders," the President emphasized.
