Also, according to the president, he and Meloni agreed to strengthen coordination at the level of European leaders in order to discuss the security situation in the region and increase the supply of air defense systems for Ukraine.

Earlier, the agency Reuters wrote that Italy is preparing a New, already tenth package of military assistance for Ukraine. Media sources said that the Italian government is likely to approve the next aid before the end of December 2024, but declined to provide details.
