Yermak and Sullivan discussed strengthening Ukraine's air defense after the recent Russian attacks and planned future Ukrainian-American cooperation.
Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak had a phone conversation with US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan. This was reported in the Office of the Head of the Ukrainian state, UNN reports.

It is noted that during the first conversation of the new year, the parties discussed the consequences of the recent massive shelling of Ukraine's territory by Russia using of various types of missile weapons and "Shahed" type kamikaze drones.
Andriy Yermak informed about the results of of Ukraine's air defense forces, which shot down the vast majority of enemy air targets, including Kinzhal air defense missiles.
The interlocutors agreed on the importance of of strengthening Ukraine's air defense. They emphasized the importance of maintaining the necessary level of support for Ukraine's air defense by the United States.
