The comments came after Russian dictator Vladimir Putin signed a decree authorizing Russia to use nuclear weapons in response to a conventional attack on its territory that threatens its sovereignty, including the use of drones. This follows the US decision to allow Ukraine to use long-range missiles provided by the US to strike Russian territory.
