There were 131 combat engagements on the frontline, 51 of them in the Kurakhove sector. Russians launched 2 missile and 71 air strikes, and carried out 596 kamikaze drone attacks.
Ukrainian defenders continue to resolutely repel the enemy's attempts to advance into the depths of our territory, inflicting effective fire damage and depleting them along the entire front line. In total, 131 combat engagements have taken place since the beginning of the day, including 51 in the Kurakhove sector. This is stated in the report of the General Staff as of 22.00 on 05.11.2024, UNN reports.
Russian invaders launched two missile strikes and 71 air strikes on the territory of Ukraine, using two missiles and 101 anti-aircraft missiles, in addition to 596 kamikaze strikes, and fired over three thousand times at settlements and positions of our defenders,
In Kharkiv sector, the enemy attacked our troops' defenses seven times near Lypky, Vovchansk and Starytsia. All attacks were repelled, the enemy was not successful.
In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy concentrated its main offensive efforts in the areas of Novoosynove and Lozova, where it attacked seven times, one attack is still ongoing.
In the Liman sector, Russian invaders attacked Ukrainian positions nine times near Zahryzove, Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Terny and Torske over the course of the day. All attacks were successfully repelled by our defenders.
In the Northern sector our troops repelled one enemy attack near Bilohorivka, the situation is under control.
In the Kramatorsk sector, our defenders repelled two attacks near Orikhovo Vasylivka, and the enemy also launched air strikes on Chasovyi Yar and Stupochky.
In the Toretsk sector, Russians attacked the defense forces near Toretsk once.
Since the beginning of the day, in the Pokrovsky sector, the occupants have tried to break through our defenses 31 times near the settlements of Promin, Lysivka, Novohrodivka, Krutyi Yar, Selydove and Hrodivka. Three firefights in the area of Selydove are still ongoing. The enemy is suffering significant losses - 219 occupants were neutralized in this area today, 85 of them were killed irrevocably. Two vehicles and one mortar were also destroyed. In addition, an enemy armored personnel carrier was damaged.
In the Kurakhove sector, the enemy attacked our positions 51 times near Vovchenka, Stepanivka, Illinka, Berizka, Kreminna Balka, Novoselydivka, Novodmytrivka, Horoshne, Maksymilianivka, Antonivka, Yelizavetivka and Katerynivka. According to the updated information, 24 hostilities are ongoing. In this sector, 191 occupants were neutralized, 76 of them were eliminated permanently. One vehicle, one armored combat vehicle, one electronic warfare trench station, one motorcycle and one enemy mortar were also destroyed.
In the Vremivsk sector, the invaders carried out nine offensives near the settlements of Kostiantynopolske and Trudove. One firefight is still ongoing.
In the Gulyaypillia sector , the locality of Bilohirya was attacked with unguided missiles.
In the Orikhivsk sector , the enemy made one futile attempt to advance toward our positions near Orikhiv.
In the Prydniprovsky sector, three enemy attacks took place since the beginning of the day, which our defenders successfully repelled.
In other areas, the situation has not changed significantly.
