The Ukrainian gymnastics team has arrived at the Olympic Village in Paris. Four gymnasts have already held two training sessions, and the fifth athlete will join the team on July 22.
Representatives of the Ukrainian national gymnastics team have arrived at the Olympic Village in Paris. Four gymnasts have already had two training sessions - morning and evening. This was reported by the National Olympic Committee, UNN reports.
"Representatives of the Ukrainian national gymnastics team have arrived at the Olympic Village. The team arrived at the Ukrainian national team's residential building in the Olympic Village late at night on July 20. The gymnasts left Kyiv by train in the evening of July 18. Later, the athletes had a flight to Paris," the statement said.
It is noted that gymnasts Oleh Verniaiev, Ihor Radivilov, Nazar Chepurny and Radomyr Stelmakh have already had two training sessions - morning and evening. Gymnast Ilya Kovtun will join the team with his coaches on Monday, July 22.
"The gymnasts will begin their journey at the Olympic Games on the first competition day, July 27," the NOC reminds.
