The Armed Forces of Ukraine found a notebook of a North Korean mercenary in the Kursk region with a greeting to a friend. In the note, soldier Gyong Hong-jong congratulates his friend on his birthday while on the territory of the Russian Federation.

In Kursk region, the Ukrainian military discovered a North Korean soldier's trophy notebook in which he left a greeting to his comrade.

Operators of the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces continue to eliminate North Korean mercenaries fighting on the side of Russia. A notebook written by soldier Gyong Hong Jong was found in the possession of one of the killed enemies. He wrote a birthday greeting for his comrade Song Ji Myong (or Yong):

I, having left my homeland and being in Russia, congratulate my best friend and army brother Song Ji Myung (Yong) on his birthday and wish him health, December 9, 2024
