Ukraine expressed interest in intensifying its integration into EU space activities by joining the EU Space Program and deepening cooperation with the European Space Agency.
Ukraine has expressed interest in intensifying the process of integration into the EU space activities by joining the European Union Space Program. This is stated in a joint press release following the 9th meeting of the EU-Ukraine Association Council, UNN reports with reference to the Government Portal.
"Ukraine welcomed the proposal of the first European Defense Industrial Strategy, which could become a platform for Ukraine's participation in EU initiatives," the press release said.
It is also reported that Ukraine welcomed the initiative to establish an EU Office for Defense Innovation in Kyiv to further support Ukraine's defense technology and industrial base and expressed its readiness to work closely with the EU to ensure its rapid implementation.
"Ukraine has expressed interest in deepening practical mutually beneficial cooperation with the European Space Agency (ESA), as well as intensifying the process of integration into the EU space activities by joining the EU Space Program," the press release said.
