Ukraine has taken steps to get Hungary to lift the blocking of the eighth tranche of the European Peace Fund in the amount of 500 million euros, and progress has been made in improving bilateral relations between the two countries.
Ukraine has taken the necessary steps to ensure that Hungary lifts the blocking of the eighth tranche of the European Peace Fund in the amount of 500 million euros. This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba during his conversation with the media following his visit to Brussels, an UNN correspondent reports.
"I had a normal meeting with Siyarto yesterday. His speech today was normal. We can say that we had a mini-expert, at least intergovernmental dialog. There is one issue that has long been in the air. This is Hungary's blocking of the eighth tranche of the European Peace Fund in the amount of 500 million euros. We have taken the necessary steps to ensure that this blocking is lifted," Kuleba said.
According to him, there is Ukraine's response to the 11 points that Hungary handed over to Kyiv in Uzhhorod.
"We are ready to move forward, and experts continue to work to resolve these 11 points," Kuleba said.
