Trump on easing restrictions against Russia: "I don't like sanctions"

Trump has hinted at a willingness to ease or lift sanctions against Russia as part of his "deal" to end the war in Ukraine, saying he does not like sanctions and considers them useful only in certain cases, such as with Iran.
The Republican presidential candidate, former US President Donald Trump said that he is not in favor of sanctions. Trump said this in an interview with Bloomberg published on July 16, UNN reports.

When asked whether Trump had thought about easing or lifting sanctions against Russia as part of the so-called "deal" he talked about to end the war in Ukraine, the presidential candidate replied:
"Yes. With sanctions, we force everyone to leave us. That's why I don't like sanctions. I found them very useful with Iran, but with Iran I didn't need sanctions that much.
