Donald Trump has appointed his future daughter-in-law Kimberly Guilfoyle as ambassador to Greece. This is the third appointment of members of the Trump family to diplomatic positions, including appointments to embassies in France and the Middle East.

US President-elect Donald Trump has decided on several diplomatic appointments in his future administration - the head of the inaugural committee in 2016, Tom Barrak, was named ambassador to Turkey, and the future daughter-in-law of the Republican leader will go to work in Greece. This is reported by Reuters, writes UNN.

Details

It is noted that  since the end of 2020, Kimberly Guilfoyle has been engaged to Donald Trump Jr. Her future father-in-law considers Gilfoyle "an ideal person to develop our bilateral relations with Greece, starting with military cooperation and ending with trade and Economic Innovation."

For Trump, this is the third personnel decision involving his own family. His son-in-law Jared Kushner's father, Charles, became ambassador to France. And the father-in-law of Trump's youngest daughter, Tiffany Mossad Boulos, has been named by the president as a senior adviser on Arab and Middle East issues.

Donald Trump Jr. called "imbeciles" those who allowed Ukraine to launch long-range strikes on the Russian Federation. He believes that this decision could lead to a third World War.
