The President emphasized that "true independence is always the result of battles won, and freedom must be strengthened by victories every time tyranny tries to destroy it." "Different generations of Americans and Ukrainians have seen this firsthand, and it is imperative that current generations pass on their children and grandchildren a strong independence and lasting freedom," he said.
