Ukrzaliznytsia has completed restoration work on the Syanky-Mukachevo section, where an electric train derailed due to falling stones. Traffic has been restored, and train No. 60 Chop-Kyiv is running on its normal route.

In Transcarpathia, where an electric train derailed due to a fall of stones from a mountain, restoration work has been completed and the section has been opened for traffic, UNN reports, citing Ukrzaliznytsia.

"Railroad workers have completed restoration work in a short time after a rock fell on the Syanky-Mukachevo track. The section is open for traffic," the statement said.

Ukrzaliznytsia added that train No. 60 Chop-Kyiv will follow its usual schedule.

On the Syanky-Mukachevo section, an electric train derailed due to the fall of stones from the mountain. The passengers were evacuated by car. It was expected that the train #59 Kyiv-Chop would take a detour.
