The Oscar nominee, who turns 29 this Friday, began the live broadcast "somberly" sitting in an office chair inside a huge, empty soundstage.
Timothy watched a montage of Bob Dylan footage while his 1991 song Blind Willie McTell blared in the background.
Chalamet, who plays Dylan in the movie A Complete Unknown, smashed his guitar to pieces in the style of Nirvana without saying a word.
The star of the action movie Dune: Part 2" then solemnly raised his hands when the song I Gotta Feeling by The Black Eyed Peas (2009) played.
"Congratulations, Timothy," the big screen said, misspelling Timothy's name.
The big screen also flashed: "You did it. Well done, Timmy. Good luck in the future. Impressive to say the least. We are so proud of you. We'll be watching your other movies.
Chalamet danced in front of a ghostly figure that resembled his famous girlfriend, the producer and star of the Kardashian series Kylie Jenner, who entered the frame, hugged him, and left the frame.
Four more people hugged the New York native, who took off his sweatshirt to reveal a white T-shirt and danced around the huge space of the room.
Timothy fired three confetti cannons into the air before deciding to submerge his entire head under the faucet in the sink in the same room.
Then Chalamet took off his shirt. The Bleu de Chanel brand ambassador got on the ground, performed the Homer Simpson spinning move, and repeatedly thrust his hips.
The live broadcast ended as Timothy-still shirtless-walked out of the establishment onto a rain-soaked loading dock next to the railroad tracks, singing to himself.
Addendum
Shalamet's video comes after he celebrated Christmas earlier with the 27-year-old Kylie Cosmetics founder and her daughter Stormi Webster, 6, and son Air Webster, 2, from her five-year relationship with disgraced Astroworld founder Travis Scott.
"They had a really nice dinner with Kylie's family, and they went to see the Christmas lights," a source told Page Six.
