Three Russian captains eliminated during field meeting - DIU

The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported on three "two hundredth" captains of the Russian army, providing details of a successful operation, UNN reports.

"Three senior officers of the Russian occupation troops were eliminated as a result of a successful operation by the Department of Active Operations of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Tavria operational group of troops," the DIU reported on social media.

As stated, the DIU employees received information about a planned meeting with the participation of officers of the command of the 4th Guards Military Base of the Russian occupation forces, who are involved in the criminal war against Ukraine in Zaporizhzhia region.

After checking and confirming the data, the military intelligence officers, as indicated, developed an operation plan, which was joined by the Tavria, the SSU and the Typhoon tactical group of the SSU. "Immediately after the start of the field meeting, the occupiers launched a precision strike from HIMARS on the cluster of Russian officers and their vehicles, and after the arrival of the evacuation group, the invaders were attacked by attack drones of the Ukrainian Security and Defense Forces," the DIU said.

"As a result of the operation, three officers of the Russian occupation forces were killed: captain nagorny dmitriy alegovich, commander of the 1st battalion of the 135th motorized rifle regiment of the russian armed forces; captain krokhmalov grigory alexandrovich, deputy chief of staff for intelligence, chief of intelligence of the 135th motorized rifle regiment of the russian armed forces; Captain Yuriy Fomin, commander of the anti-aircraft battery of the 4th Guards Military Base of the Russian Armed Forces," the DIU reported.

It is also stated that 5 units of enemy vehicles were destroyed.
