Two women and a six-year-old child have died after being hit by a tree in the town of Rabka Zdrój, regional fire department spokesman Hubert Czepli said.
In the city of Zakopane, at the foot of the Tatras, a third woman was killed when a tree fell on her car, said Andrzej Krol-Lengowski, a spokesman for the city's fire department.
According to ambulance spokesman Pavel Mitskovsky, a child also died in the same city after crashing into a tree.
