An 18-year-old Ukrainian citizen died in hospital after crashing into a roadside pole at high speed while trying to escape from police in Opole, Poland.
On Friday night, an 18-year-old citizen of Ukraine tried to escape from the police and drove into a roadside pole at high speed. The man died in the hospital. This is reported by Wnp.pl with reference to the press service of the Main Police Department in Opole, Poland, UNN reports.

According to the newspaper, on Thursday, a police patrol noticed a car that was moving unevenly. Officers called on the driver to stop with light signs, but he continued to move towards the center of the Polish city of Opole.
"The police called for reinforcements. The road was blocked on Budowlanycz Street in Opole, but the driver avoided the police car, accelerated the car to about 200 km/h and crashed into a roadside pillar. The victim was taken to the hospital where, despite the efforts of doctors, he died. The police are establishing the circumstances of the incident and the reasons for the driver's behavior," the newspaper writes.
