Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba met with his Spanish counterpart Jose Manuel Albares. The Ukrainian official announced this on his page on the social network X, transmitted by UNN.

I met with Jose Manuel Albares to congratulate him on his reappointment and to reaffirm the strength of the Ukrainian-Spanish partnership. I am grateful to my friend for reaffirming Spain's unwavering support for Ukraine in countering Russian aggression, as well as in the December decision to open accession talks
According to him, they also discussed ways to build the capacity of the European defense industry.

The Spanish minister posted his video from the meeting with Kuleba on his X network page.
"I reaffirmed Spain's firm commitment to the defense of peace, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. We also support the opening of negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU," Albares said.
