There were 222 combat engagements on the front, with the most assaults recorded in three areas — General Staff

Over the past day, Russian forces launched 222 attacks on the positions of Ukraine’s Defense Forces. The most intense assaults continued in the Kostiantynivka, Pokrovsk, and Sloviansk directions. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, UNN writes.

Yesterday, the enemy carried out 76 airstrikes, during which it dropped 237 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders deployed 10,027 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,011 attacks on populated areas and the positions of our troops

The settlements of Korenok, Ulanove, Vyntorivka, Yastrubshchyna, and Seredyna-Buda in Sumy region came under enemy artillery fire. In addition, the areas around the settlements of Velyka Chernechchyna and Tolstodubove in Sumy region were subjected to airstrikes.

Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 14 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated and two command posts for unmanned aerial vehicles.

In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, our defenders stopped four enemy assaults over the past day. At the same time, the aggressor carried out three airstrikes using four guided aerial bombs and launched 68 attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas.

In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, Ukrainian units repelled 15 enemy attacks. The invaders attempted to advance near Starytsia and Lyman, as well as toward Khatnie and Kolodiazne.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attacked once toward Zahryzove.

Attempts to break into our defenses were repelled in the Lyman direction, where the occupiers attacked ten times near Zarichne, as well as toward Novoselivka, Shyikivka, and Drobysheve.

In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy carried out 17 assault actions near Kryva Luka, Zakitne, and Riznykivka, as well as toward Rai-Oleksandrivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked twice toward the settlements of Nykyforivka and Yurkivka.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, 29 attacks were recorded. The invaders conducted assault operations near Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, and Ivanopillia, as well as toward Rusyn Yar and Stepanivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 25 attacks. The enemy was active near Rodynske and Serhiivka, and also carried out assaults toward Novyi Donbas, Hannivka, Shevchenko, Novohryshyne, Vasylivka, Myrne, Udachne, and Muravka.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the invaders carried out seven attacks toward the settlements of Kalynivske, Vorone, Ternove, and Berezove.

In the Huliaipole direction, the occupiers attacked 12 times. The enemy attempted to advance toward Vozdvyzhivka, Tsvitkove, Staroukrainka, Danylivka, and Charivne.

In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders stopped one attempt by the enemy to advance toward Pavlivka.

In the Dnieper direction, the enemy conducted no assault operations over the past day.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.
