The United States plans to provide Ukraine with $725 million in military assistance, including anti-drone systems and anti-personnel mines. Biden intends to use all funds approved by Congress before the end of the presidential term.

The United States is preparing to provide Ukraine with additional military assistance in the amount of $725 million, including anti-drone systems and anti-personnel mines. This is UNN reports with reference to the AP.

"The United States is preparing to provide Ukraine with additional military assistance in the amount of $ 725 million, including anti-drone systems and ammunition for its highly mobile artillery missile system, which may indicate that more and more longer-range missiles are being sent to the battlefield," the message says.

The new package was reported to the publication by two American officials who spoke on condition of anonymity. But they have not confirmed whether there is ammunition for HIMARS there. Ukraine also insists on more longer-range missiles to hit additional targets on Russian territory.

It is reported that the package also includes more anti-personnel mines, which Ukraine expects to use to slow down Russian and North Korean ground forces in the Kursk region of Russia.

President Joe Biden has promised to spend all funds on military assistance to Ukraine, approved by Congress earlier this year, before the end of his administration's term on January 20. Before the news broke on Monday, that amount included about $7.1 billion in weapons to be taken from the Pentagon's stockpile.
