This is reported by GBR, reports UNN.

Details

Employees of the state Bureau of Investigation for the procedural management of the Office of the prosecutor general sent criminal proceedings against the former acting chairman of the state agency of highways of Ukraine to the Republic of Poland

- the message says.

According to UNN sources, we are talking about Slawomir Novak, who headed Ukravtodor in the status of acting from October 2016 to October 2019. It is noted that law enforcement officers in their petition ask their Polish colleagues to take over criminal prosecution against a citizen of their country who did not comply with the decision of the Ukrainian courts and left Ukraine.

During 2017-2019, the official deliberately failed to comply with the decisions of the local and Supreme Courts of Ukraine regarding the reinstatement of the head of the highway service in one of the regions and actively obstructed justice. Because of this, fines were imposed on the state agency of highways, and the ex-head of Ukravtodor was warned about criminal liability for ignoring court decisions

- reported in the state Bureau of Investigation.

addition

In early September 2019, the enforcement proceedings were completed and a notice of committing a criminal offense was sent to law enforcement agencies. Already on September 30, 2019, the official terminated his powers at his own request, left the borders of Ukraine and returned to Poland, where he was detained for committing a number of serious corruption criminal offenses.

Novak is suspected of intentionally failing to comply with court decisions and decisions that have entered into legal force by an official in a particularly responsible position and obstructing their implementation (part 3 of Article 382 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

recall

In September 2021, the pre-trial investigation of the case was completed on suspicion of the owner of the Ukrainian financial and industrial group Altcom Alexander Tislenko in giving a bribe to the ex-executor of the duties of the head of the state agency of highways of Ukraine Slawomir Novak.
