The head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Military Administration, Svitlana Onyshchuk, denied rumors about explosions in mountainous settlements, which spread today on social networks, reports UNN.

In Ivano-Frankivsk region, local residents heard a series of sounds similar to explosions. No alarm was announced in Ukraine and the region at that moment.
Local publics write that people allegedly heard explosions in most mountain cities. The police and the regional administration have already reacted.
"Mysterious explosions in Frankivshchyna: explosions were heard in Bukovel, Kosov, Delyatyn, Verkhovyna, Krasnyk and Kuty", the message says.
According to law enforcement officers, the 102 line did not receive any reports of alleged explosions in Delyatyn, Bukovel or somewhere else in that area. The police insist that everything is quiet in the mountainous regions.
It is assumed online that the explosions could have occurred as a result of training or due to an airplane crossing the sound barrier.
