In the first 9 months of 2024, the number of payments through PTRs increased 2.2 times to 3 billion transactions. The total amount of expenditures amounted to UAH 1.07 trillion, although the average check decreased to UAH 345.

In 9 months of 2024, Ukrainians made 3 billion payments through software payment transaction recorders (PPTs), which is 2.2 times more than in the same period in 2023.

This is reported by the analytical platform Opendatabot, reports UNN.

Details

Total expenses amounted to UAH 1.07 trillion, which is 2.1 times higher than last year.

However, the increase in spending is due to an increase in the number of purchases, not the size of the average check. In 2024, the average check is UAH 345, which is 3.7 times less than in 2020, when it was UAH 1,300.

The number of payments is also showing impressive growth.
