The Netherlands will send Ukraine 500 million euros to purchase drones

The Netherlands will support a major drone development project for Ukraine. 500 million euros will be allocated to help within the framework of the project, which is part of the package of accelerated assistance worth 2 billion euros until 2025.

Ruben Brekelmans, head of the Dutch Ministry of Defense, announced the allocation of 500 million euros for UAVs to Ukraine:

Visited my Ukrainian colleague Rustem Umerov in Kyiv to discuss our unwavering support. I informed him about our 2 billion euro acceleration package in 2025. The allocation of 500 million euros for the "drone line" is crucial: drones that Ukraine urgently needs to stop Russia on the front!

As noted, during his visit to Ukraine, Brekelmans visited the affected area the next morning after the Russian invaders' attack - "while the fire was still being extinguished". Together with the Dutch Secretary of State Guise Tuinman, they saw with their own eyes the great impact of Russian aggression. They visited Dnipro.

The Dutch Minister of Defense also visited a training ground and a repair center in Ukraine.

To support intensive combat operations, Ukraine needs to constantly train new soldiers and repair equipment. Near Dnipro, we are visiting a training ground and a repair center. It is impressive how hard people work here to stop Russian aggression.
