The Ministry of Defense purchased 350 thousand drones for UAH 30 billion in 2024

Since the beginning of 2024, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has purchased more than 350,000 drones worth UAH 30 billion. 95% of the purchased UAVs are Ukrainian-made, which indicates the development of national defense technologies.
Since the beginning of 2024, the Defense Procurement Agency of the Ministry of Defense has purchased UAVs and unmanned aerial systems for UAH 30 billion. This was reported by UNN with reference to the press service of the department.
Details
It is noted that more than 350 thousand drones have been contracted. These include the most popular FPV and Mavic drones, as well as expensive reconnaissance and attack aircraft that can operate deep behind enemy lines.
Reportedly, 95% of the purchased drones are Ukrainian-made.
No one doubts that Ukrainian manufacturers produce highly competitive UAVs, as they are in constant communication with our military and take into account their wishes and changes in battlefield conditions. It is also important that the Defense Procurement Agency has already contracted more than 1.6 million rounds of ammunition for UAVs from domestic manufacturers
