Due to road surface repairs on the Polish side, the Medyka – Shehyni checkpoint will operate with restrictions. The works are expected to last approximately five weeks.
Due to repair work on the Polish side, the "Medyka – Shehyni" checkpoint will limit its operations for several weeks. This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGS), according to UNN.
Attention to citizens planning to cross the border through the "Medyka – Shehyni" checkpoint. Due to road resurfacing work on the Polish side, a temporary reduction in throughput capacity is possible
It is noted that the work will last approximately 5 weeks and will cover both entry and exit directions. Traffic will be organized in stages. While work is being carried out on one lane, vehicles will be redirected to another.
According to information from the Polish side, on May 9 and 16, two access lanes to the weighing platforms for freight transport entering Poland will be temporarily closed. During this period, trucks will be processed through the lane designated for buses.
