The iconic mansion from the Christmas movie Home Alone has found a new owner. The 836-square-meter property with six bathrooms and a private screening room was sold for $5.25 million.
A buyer has been found for the iconic house worth more than $5 million from the most popular movie Home Alone. The property was also planned to be bought by Macaulay Culkin, who played the main role in the movie, reports UNN with reference to Independent.

The iconic house where the famous 1990 Christmas movie Home Alone was filmed has found a buyer.
In May, the five-bedroom, six-bathroom house was put up for sale for $5.25 million.
On the Coldwell Banker Realty website, where the listing is published, the house is listed as “pending sale,” which means that the seller has accepted an offer for the property.
The exterior of the house was used as the home of the McCallister family in the movie Home Alone, as well as in its sequel Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. in 1992.
Macaulay Culkin, who played Kevin McCallister in the movie, admitted that he was thinking about buying a house.
“I was thinking of buying it for fun,” the actor admitted.
The 836-square-meter building was built in 1921 and features four fireplaces, two laundry rooms, two hot tubs, a small bar, a lounge, a gym, a private cinema room and an indoor sports field.
The last time the house was sold was in 2012 for $1.58 million.
In 2021, as a promotion for the relaunch of Disney's Home Alone, the Home Alone mansion was available for rent on Airbnb for one night only for only $25.
