The government has approved the Winter eSupport program, under which every Ukrainian will receive UAH 1,000 starting December 1. The money can be spent on medicines, books, clothing, travel, utilities or support for the Armed Forces.
The government has approved the Winter eSupport program initiated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, under which every Ukrainian will be able to receive UAH 1,000 after December 1. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a government meeting, UNN reports.
Today we are making a decision that is part of the winter support for Ukrainian families. At the initiative of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, starting from December 1, every Ukrainian will receive one thousand hryvnias to pay for Ukrainian services and goods. He noted that the program covers not only adults but also children, so one of the parents can apply for a payment for their child.
The government has three key objectives in implementing the Winter is Support program:
- To provide financial assistance to Ukrainian families. The funds can be used for medicines, books, clothing, bus or train fares, utilities, etc.
- To support domestic producers and service providers. The funds will be directed to Ukrainian businesses, which will provide an additional impetus to the economy.
- To strengthen the unity of Ukrainian society. One of the ways to use the funds is to support the Ukrainian army by transferring money to charity accounts of the Security and Defense Forces or trusted volunteer funds.

Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to introduce a new support program for Ukrainians starting December 1, under which they will be able to receive a thousand hryvnias per family member.
