The Cabinet of Ministers has updated the conditions for crossing the border for male students. From now on, Ukrainian bachelor's or master's students in medical, pharmaceutical and veterinary fields aged 18 to 22 will be able to travel abroad for internships and studies for one semester. This was announced by Minister of Education and Science Oksen Lisovyi on Facebook, according to UNN.

Lisovyi pointed out that due to martial law, only girls are currently participating in academic mobility programs, under which students temporarily study or undergo internships abroad. And students have repeatedly addressed this issue to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
So today, the government has made a decision that will allow boys to participate in these programs for one semester. This applies only to students aged 18 to 22 who are studying for a full-time bachelor's degree (or a master's degree in medicine, pharmacy, or veterinary medicine)
The minister also said that to cross the border to study on academic mobility programs, one must have a student's e-ticket, a referral from an educational institution, a certified copy of the agreement with a foreign university on admission to the academic mobility program, and a military reference document from the Military Training Center. The Ministry of Education and Science will not issue any special permits, Lisovyi added.
He also noted that in order to participate in academic mobility programs, you need to have high scores and fulfill a number of requirements set by the program founders.
