On April 16, the Ukrainian company 4A Games, together with Deep Silver, officially announced Metro 2039 and released a trailer for the game, which is expected to be released this winter.
The game features a new protagonist who replaces Artyom, as well as a new faction called the "New Reich."
As the developers indicated, the player will take on the role of The Stranger - a hermit haunted by brutal nightmares. He is forced to return to the metro - a place he swore never to return to.
