Russian troops are trying to break through the border near Novenkoye and Zhuravka, but Ukrainian defenders are destroying them. DRGs have also become more active, attacking the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian troops continue to attempt to break through the border in the areas of Novenke and Zhuravka, using small assault groups. However, Ukrainian defenders are destroying these units on the approaches. This was announced by the spokesman of the State Border Service Andriy Demchenko on the air of the telethon, reports UNN.

Separately, we see that the enemy does not stop trying to cross our border in the direction of the settlement of Novenke and Zhuravka. In fact, using such small assault groups, but they are still destroyed immediately after crossing the border or on the approaches. And for this, the units of the components of the defense forces of Ukraine and the units of the State Border Service and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which are with us in this direction, using artillery, drones, destroy these groups in order to prevent the enemy from accumulating on the territory of Ukraine and expanding the zone of active hostilities on our territory
Also, according to Demchenko, there is an increase in the activity of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups (SRG). If earlier their presence was more often noticed in the north of the region, now Russian saboteurs are trying to operate in the southeast of the region. Their goal is to attack the positions of Ukrainian soldiers, but the defense forces are responding promptly to these threats.

The head of the press service of the 15th mobile border detachment "Steel Border" Ivan Shevtsov previously reported that Russian DRGs do not stop trying to enter Ukraine, especially in the direction of Sumy region.
