Telegram said that in 2024 it removed 15.4 million groups and channels associated with harmful content such as fraud and terrorism, noting that these efforts were "enhanced by advanced AI moderation tools.
This announcement is part of the recently launched moderation page, created by Telegram to better inform the public about its moderation efforts. According to Telegram's moderation page , there has been a marked increase in enforcement actions since Durov's arrest in August.
