Taiwan has set up an emergency response center through seven new Chinese airspace zones around the island. China is planning military exercises in response to the visit of the Taiwanese president to the United States.

The Taiwanese military announced the creation of a Special Emergency Response Center and increased the alert level. This is reported by Reuters, reports UNN.

This happened after China created seven zones of reserved airspace around the island and sent naval forces and Coast Guard boats to its territorial waters. 

According to the information, Beijing is planning new military exercises in response to Taiwan's President Lai Chin te's recent trip to the Pacific Ocean.

This trip included stops in Hawaii and the US-owned territory of Guam.
