President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi and General Andrii Hnatov will continue to be involved in the army's work. The head of state reported this on Thursday, July 23, during a joint meeting with Prime Minister of Ireland Micheál Martin, writes UNN.

As the President noted, they should assist the new leadership by passing on their experience and participating in the decision-making process.

Zelenskyy emphasized that it is important to preserve the accumulated experience of Syrskyi and Hnatov and ensure their interaction with the new command.

The President also added that he has already had several conversations with Syrskyi and Hnatov.
