Sybiha calls for banning Russian propaganda resources in Europe after disinformation campaign

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that there is a large-scale Russian propaganda campaign in Europe using photos from Ceuta. He called on European countries to completely block all Russian propaganda resources.

According to the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ukrainian side has recorded an intensive information campaign involving pro-Russian media.
"We have recorded an intensive Russian propaganda campaign across Europe using photographs from Ceuta to spread destabilization," Sybiha said.
He noted that over 1,500 materials on this topic have appeared in media outlets identified by analysts as a pro-Russian network led by "Pravda" and RT. In particular, the Spanish-language version of "Pravda" published nearly 300 such reports, and each language edition of RT distributed over 25 news items.
According to the minister, Moscow has been using migration and other sensitive topics for many years to stoke fear and destabilize European countries.
"The issue is not the situation itself, but how Russia tries to manipulate any topic that can serve its agenda. The only way to protect society from this interference is to cut it off," Sybiha emphasized.
The head of Ukrainian diplomacy called on European states to completely block Russian propaganda resources.
"All Russian propaganda resources must be completely banned in every European country that takes its national security seriously," he concluded.
