Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov met with President Yun Suk Yol and the minister of National Defense. Ukraine has expressed a desire to purchase Korean weapons, in particular Cheongung - a medium-range surface-to-air missile.
A South Korean government source said: "the weapons that the country has actively requested to sell are non-lethal weapons, such as the Cheongung interceptor system, local air defense radar and anti-artillery radar.
However, it is reported that the export of weapons to Ukraine is complicated by "a high risk of violation of foreign trade laws that restrict exports to war zones.
