Single Veteran Line Launched in Ukraine to Support Military and Their Families

The Ministry of Veterans Affairs and the Red Cross of Ukraine have launched the Single Veterans Line, a single hotline (0 800 505 217) where veterans can access various services such as psychosocial support, benefits, housing, financial assistance, medical rehabilitation, and digitization of documents.

On Wednesday, March 20, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs and the Red Cross of Ukraine launched a single veterans' line. This was reported by UNN with reference to the statement of the acting Minister of Veterans Affairs Oleksandr Porkhun on Facebook.

Today, another project to support female and male veterans, their families and the families of fallen defenders is being launched. The Ministry of Veterans together with the Red Cross of Ukraine launches a Single Veterans Line

You can call the line at 0 800 505 217. The acting Minister of Veterans Affairs emphasized that the line will be open daily on working days from 08:00 to 20:00

According to Porkhun, the Single Veterans Line can be contacted  with questions: 

  • Psychosocial support;
  • Opportunities for psychological help and support;
  • Benefits:

- to combatants;

- people with disabilities caused by the war;

- family members of the victims.

  • Housing issues;
  • Financial assistance and compensation;
  • Medical issues:

- opportunities for medical rehabilitation and treatment;

- establishing the fact of injury.

The system is currently in test mode. The only veteran line is already active
