Details
The singer was invited to the project as an international star. Ruslana almost reached the final: she lasted 10 episodes out of 12. Ruslana performed in a spectacular Zeeduivel fish costume (a fish-rod or sea devil). After completing her participation in the competition, the singer told interesting details of the show and what clues were in the spectacular costume to recognize Ruslana's personality. The entire image of the artist was made in a blue palette, but you can see a yellow tint on the soles of the shoes and the flashlight. In this way, Ruslana gave a clue that connects her to Ukraine.
From start to finish, the image of Zeeduivel is entirely the producers' idea. As a result, we got a vivid image of a rock star who looks at the world with wide open eyes, a bright smile, but at the same time has strong and sharp teeth, which demonstrates her strong character and indomitable spirit. This image fully corresponds to the image of not only me, but also all Ukrainians and Ukraine
By participating in the project, Ruslana not only impressed the Belgian audience, but also conveyed important messages. According to the rules of the show, the participants cannot speak, but the singer expressed her thoughts through songs. One of Ruslana's performances was dedicated to the fallen Ukrainian defender Dmytro Kotsyubaylo, better known by his call sign "Da Vinci". She performed the song "Please Forgive Me", which touched not only the audience in the studio, but also thousands of fans watching the show.
