Samsung and Apple have become the most popular smartphone brands among Ukrainians

According to Viber, Samsung has overtaken Apple in popularity. Android dominates, but iOS is gaining momentum, and the most popular models are iPhone 11 and 13.
Rakuten Viber shared statistics on the most popular brands and models of smartphones among Ukrainians. The first three places were shared by Samsung, Apple and Redmi respectively.

Android VS iOS
Android-based smartphones traditionally outweigh iOS-based devices - they are used by 75% of Ukrainians. However, the number of Ukrainian iOS users continues to grow:
- in 2023 - it was 19%;
- in 2024 - 22%;
- today it is - 25%.
Most popular smartphone brands
The four most popular brands (Samsung, Apple, Redmi and Xiaomi) remained unchanged compared to previous years.
Thus, Samsung gadgets took the first place, surpassing Apple smartphones, which took the second place, in popularity.
Redmi smartphones are in third place, and Xiaomi is in fourth place.
The Poco brand closes the list.
Most popular smartphone models
Among the most popular models, devices of two brands remain unchanged - Apple and Redmi.
The first and second places in the ranking were taken by iPhone 11 and iPhone 13, surpassing last year's leader Redmi 9A, which now occupies the third place.
