A civilian man was killed by Russian troops while delivering food to residents of the Chernihiv region border area.
In Chernihiv region , Russian troops shot at a civilian car in the border area, killing a man who was carrying food to local residents, the head of the Chernihiv RMA Vyacheslav Chaus and the regional police reported on Saturday, UNN reported.

According to the regional police, "the Russian army targeted a civilian car of a resident of Novhorod-Siverskyi.
According to the report, the occupants attacked a civilian car moving along the road between the villages of Novhorod-Siverska community at about 10 am today. "A local resident was carrying food to remote border villages. As a result of the shelling, the car caught fire, and the man was fatally wounded," the police said.
Reportedly, a civilian man born in 1990 died as a result of the shelling.
Investigators are investigating this fact under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine "Violation of the laws and customs of war".
