Russian strike on Kramatorsk in 2023 - general Kuzovlev was charged in absentia

The SBU and the prosecutor's office notified in absentia Russian Colonel General Sergei Kuzovlev of suspicion for the strike on Kramatorsk in June 2023. Then 13 civilians were killed, another 56 were injured.
The Prosecutor's Office and the Security Service of Ukraine have notified Russian Colonel General Sergei Kuzovlev, former commander of the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation, of suspicion in absentia. He is accused of the strike on Kramatorsk in Donetsk region in June 2023, reports UNN citing the SBU.
Details
The occupiers launched two Iskander-M cruise missiles from the Rostov region. At that time, 13 civilians were killed, and another 56 were injured of varying degrees of severity.
A food establishment was also destroyed, over 120 private homes, 4 educational institutions, and more than ten vehicles were damaged.
As the investigation established, the enemy used information from a recruited local resident to direct the strike. Based on the SBU's materials, the traitor has already been sentenced to life imprisonment with confiscation of property
The Russian general has been notified of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war provided for by international treaties, combined with premeditated murder). The sanction provides for imprisonment from ten to fifteen years or life imprisonment.
Reminder
The Netherlands will host the Special Tribunal on the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine. This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
According to the head of state, this is a historic decision that will make it possible to hold the top political and military leadership of Russia accountable specifically for the crime of aggression, and not just for its consequences.
