A ship of the Russian Baltic Fleet intruded into Finnish territorial waters for 7 minutes. The incident occurred in the eastern part of the Gulf of Finland, and Finland has launched an investigation.
On Friday, July 26, a Russian vessel invaded the territorial waters of Finland. The maritime border was crossed by a ship of the Baltic Fleet of the Russian Navy, intended for seabed exploration. This was reported by the Finnish newspaper Helsingin Sanomat with reference to the chief investigator of the Finnish Border Guard Service Petter Stauffer, UNN reports.

It is noted that the incident occurred in the eastern part of the Gulf of Finland and lasted about seven minutes.
The Russian vessel left the territory of Finland accompanied by a border guard ship. The Ministry of Defense in Helsinki said it had launched an investigation into the incident.
