Answering a question about his own assessment of the situation, Zelenskyy stated that Russia provided Iran with drones, as well as satellite images showing the locations of US bases in the Middle East.
"Russia provided drones to Iran. Iran used those drones to attack countries in the Middle East and Israel. Is that true? Yes, it is true. Russian details are in the downed drones, everyone has seen that. It is there. Then - Russia provided satellite images with the locations of US bases in the Middle East. Did they provide them? Yes, they did," the President stated.
To a follow-up question about whether he is convinced of this, the President answered affirmatively.
"Absolutely. Russia is very pleased — we know from intelligence that it is very glad that there is no end to the war. No real end to the war in the Middle East. Why? Because they understand: as long as the US is involved in this war, they cannot help Ukraine at the same level as before. For example, with Patriot systems, as one example. And there are many other examples," the President emphasized.
