Instead, no presence of enemy warships was recorded in the waters of the Black and Azov Seas. This indicates a temporary absence of active naval presence of the enemy in the immediate vicinity of the coast of Ukraine.
Over the past day, 10 civilian vessels have passed through the Kerch Strait, which remains an important logistics artery. Of these, five vessels were heading to the Black Sea, and two of them continued their course towards the Bosphorus. Another five vessels went to the Sea of Azov, two of which arrived from the Bosphorus.
It is also worth noting that the aggressor continues to violate international navigation norms. In particular, we are talking about the systematic shutdown of automatic identification systems on ships, which contradicts the provisions of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) of 1974. Such actions create additional risks for the safety of navigation in the region.
