Russia has appointed Vice Admiral Sergey Pinchuk as the new commander of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
Vice-Admiral Sergey Pinchuk has been appointed commander of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. The relevant decree was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to the Russian media, UNN reports .

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reportedly said at a meeting of the Defense Ministry that Putin had signed a decree appointing Sergey Pinchuk as commander of the Black Sea Fleet.
In addition, Shoigu said that Admiral Aleksandr Moiseev and Vice Admiral Konstantin Kabantsov, who had previously been temporarily acting, officially became the chief of the navy and the commander of the northern fleet, respectively.
