Rector in a photo lens: Kyiv University of Culture presented a three-volume book about Mykhailo Poplavsky

The creative team of the Kiev University of Culture presented the anniversary edition dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the rector "Mikhail Poplavsky: life in photographs". 

In the three – volume book, through photos, the authors captured the life path of the hero of the day-from defeats to victories, from success to recognition. They recreated  the connection between time and events that changed the country,  the main character and the people who surrounded him during his life. 

Each of the photos  has historical value for the hero of the day, the University, Ukrainian show business, culture and the country as a whole.

"Faith is magic. People like Mikhail Poplavsky are talked about by self-made man. Self-belief became for him the motive of an irresistible desire to follow his own Ukrainian path.

He can safely be called an innovator and a charismatic visionary who effectively builds the future. Creates not according to templates and schemes, but calculates many moves in advance and paves the way for the future," the annotation to the photo albums says.

Plot photos of the phototrilogy convey unique emotions, the mood of both the main character and people who met on his life path.  are accompanied by  stories and reflections of Mikhail Poplavsky about the reflected moments, periods of life, events, circumstances and winged  aphorisms. Among them: "life is a struggle. Without defeats, there are no victories!", "Learn from those you love. Choose your own path! Be unique! Stay yourself!", "Find your favorite job and turn it into a pleasure", "a leader is strong with his team", "only those who conquer life circumstances become successful", "nothing excites our enemies as much as our success" and others.

Each volume is dedicated to a specific period of Mikhail Poplavsky's biography – from childhood to the present, from personality formation  to professional and creative achievements.

The first volume of the publication includes photos that are dedicated to childhood, youth, family, native land, recreation,  opening your own business, charity work, personal communication with outstanding personalities, achievements and awards.  the second volume presents  artistic achievements: music videos, film roles, books, and TV creative projects.

The third volume is devoted to the main cause  of the rector's life – the University of culture-the University of the future. A leader who inspires and supports colleagues, as well as teaches and motivates  students – "to Live, Love, create and win". This is the life credo of Mikhail Poplavsky, which he confirmed with his professional activities.

Through photos, the publication reflects the history of Mikhail Poplavsky's rectorship, the formation and  achievement of popularity by the university under his leadership. 

Starting with the implementation of the PR project "singing rector as a technology", which attracted public attention  to the little – known Institute of Culture, All-Ukrainian  concert tours" from Hearts to Hearts "  to popularize the University among young people, open prestigious specialties, receive the status of the National University of culture and arts by the Kiev State University and to the current stage of development.

"The main task of every teacher is to fall in love with the student  and fall in love with the profession, " – says  Poplavsky.

A separate section of the third volume is "rector in social networks".  it was Mikhail Poplavsky's appearance on social media 15 years ago that became a new direction in the brand's communication strategy. Now the rector of the University of culture has the largest number of followers on Instagram – 8.2 million.  with 83% of the Ukrainian audience reaching 1.5 million in TikTok, YouTube clips are gaining millions of views.

At the end of the presentation, Mikhail Poplavsky noted :
